Leading Edge Avionics announced our new name, logo and ownership at our official Launch event on July 28, 2017. We invited clients and pilots from all over Southern California, as well as a host of vendor partners, airport officials, city dignitaries and all of our neighboring businesses here at John Wayne Airport to join us for this event. The monumental evening consisted of a hosted a cocktail reception, delicious tray-passed appetizers, lively music and an amazing dinner buffet for all our guests – an absolutely incredible night!

After 40 years as Western Avionics, we highlighted just a few of the many new, exciting programs we plan to launch for Leading Edge Avionics in 2017 and beyond. The tremendous growth is only possible due to the solid foundation that was established over the past four decades by Stan Erickson, Scott Gregory and our incredibly talented technicians, in addition to our wonderfully loyal customers. Having so many passionate customers that not only stay with us, but recommend our service to their fellow aviation enthusiasts, is a testament to our team’s hard work over the years.

Starting in 2017, our customers and partners will see Leading Edge Avionics launch an array of new programs and services that will greatly benefit our customers and partners. As an example of this new direction for the company, we have immediately increased our staff by adding more technicians and front-office team members, purchased numerous new vehicles to add to our mobile fleet in order to better service all of the Southern California airports, as well as future announcements promoting our new Leading Edge Avionics locations.

The above initiatives are just a sampling of the new path Leading Edge Avionics is forging, and we look forward to sharing all the great innovative programs with our customers, vendor partners and neighbors in 2018 and beyond!
